BOSMA
PAYS OFF
CIC
Capital Fund has made twenty-one investments over the past four years. One of
its earlier investments, a $200,000 loan to Bosma Machine and Tool Corporation,
recently successfully paid off the note. Bosma is a precision machining
operation located in Tipp City, Ohio.
NCIC Capital Fund participated in the transaction at the request of the private lender that was refinancing the company's term debt and increasing its line of credit so that the company could successfully start transitioning its customer base from primarily defense oriented companies to a blended mix of commercial and government related activity.
Bosma expedited this transition through the development of a proprietary device called the "Semi Lathe." It has the capacity to machine metal plates into concave shapes with a high degree of tolerance. The development of this device has lead to multiple applications including the machining of panels for radio telescopes for projects throughout the world.
